About the role

This position is ideal for an individual with corporate accounting, public accounting,

or a finance background. Primary responsibilities include budgeting/forecasting, data

analysis, and cost studies. Examples of work activities include analyzing and

interpreting quantitative data, developing and using complex database and

spreadsheet applications, and problem-solving. Ideal candidates will possess strong

attention to detail and communicate effectively with a variety of individuals including

coworkers, management, and external groups. Quality performance, flexibility, and

excellent customer service are required.

Physical Requirements

Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a
negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move
objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the
time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field such as accounting, finance, or data
analytics from an accredited four-year college or university
Strong analytical skills and experience with complex data
Strong written and oral communication, interpersonal, and team skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize projects to meet deadlines
Experience and proficiency with MS Office products, particularly Excel
Maintain a valid driver's license

Preferred Requirements

CPA, CMA, or advanced degree in applicable field
Three (3) years experience in relevant field
Experience in the utility industry
