In support of the Budget Office and reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Finance Budget Manager duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

Prepare annual and multiple-year operating budget and financial models for review and approval by the Chief Financial Officer.
Liaison with Deans, Department Chairs and Program Directors regarding unit budgets and financial matters and assist in developing their budget where necessary.
Under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer, facilitate the review, approval and processing of budget modification requests as appropriate and ensure timely responses to departmental budget issues and questions as they arise.
Assist in developing and implementing budgetary policies and procedures.
Develop tools and processes for budget tracking and analysis.
Monitor expenditures to ensure they align with the budget.
Assist in identifying funding for unanticipated needs.
Ensure adherence to budget regulations and policies.
