Description
This person is the key liaison between Corporate Support and Multimedia Production, and responsible for managing production of client-driven deliverables in all media from concept to creation to air.
- Responsible for upholding elements are FCC compliant.
- Write copy for all underwrites/sponsorships for TV, FM and digital platforms
- Manage production deadlines
- Get copy and spot approval internally and externally
- Provide supporting visuals and copy with creative materials
- Request shoots and post-production work
- Oversee daily proofing of broadcast logs
- Provide voice over for spots
- Write and produce weekly TV promo rolldown, including primetime billboards and tune-in promos
- Script out copy and creative elements for program promotional material
- Using programming grid, create weekly Promo Tag spreadsheet for locally tagged PBS promos
- Draft the weekly Program Points newsletter
- Manage TV schedules in Nielsen’s database for ratings reporting
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required for this position.
- Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree in communications, broadcasting or a similar field along with professional experience writing scripts or similar documents. This can include internship experience. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in the broadcast industry or professional experience writing scripts.
- Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as rates, budgets, andpercentages.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
