Your Role: We are looking for a friendly, motivated and service-driven individual to join our Instant Quote team. In this role, you will handle incoming phone calls and underwrite new business submissions, delivering insurance quotes while building strong relationships with customers. You’ll effectively communicate underwriting guidelines, resolve issues, and guide callers to the right resources when needed. Throughout our comprehensive insurance training program, you will gain the knowledge and skills to earn underwriting authority for specific products.

Key Responsibilities:
· Phone-based quoting and underwriting: Answer incoming calls, provide insurance quotes, and underwrite submissions in line with team standards
· Customer service: Promote strong customer relationships through clear, professional communication and helpful problem-solving
· Underwriting accuracy: Interpret underwriting guidelines and apply them to evaluate submissions and issue decisions
· Referral support: Direct callers to appropriate contacts across teams when necessary, ensuring a seamless experience
· Training and development: Complete a structured insurance education program and prepare for product-specific role-plays
· Technical learning: Develop a strong working knowledge of Instant Quote tools and resources and gain underwriting authority
· Professional growth: Complete training milestones including AINS designation, PCUD–Home Office coursework, and phone role-plays
· Team contribution: Maintain productivity and service levels aligned with team goals while collaborating with peers

Qualifications:
· Language proficiency: Bilingual with native-level fluency in speaking, writing, and reading in both Spanish and English, with the ability to effortlessly transition between languages
· At least two years of prior insurance experience (carrier or agency) OR
· At least three years of relevant business experience in areas such as:
o Financial services (e.g. banking, mortgage underwriting, financial consulting, asset management, business analysis)
o Legal services (e.g. attorney, paralegal)
o Relevant call center experience
· Willingness to complete ongoing insurance education and training
· Ability to work on-site at least four days per week
· Core work hours of 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. or 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. ET
Salary Range:
· Starting salary in the $60,000 range based on relevant experience, industry knowledge, skills and expertise.
