WITF
is seeking an Account Manager with our Corporate Support team to drive
revenue by selling the value of underwriting and sponsorship
opportunities across radio, television, and multimedia platforms. This
role focuses on building strong client relationships, developing
strategic, value-driven sponsorship solutions, and supporting both new
and ongoing content initiatives. Experience in nonprofit environments or
fundraising is strongly valued
Job duties include:
- Identify, prospect, and cultivate relationships with new corporate partners.
- Manage and grow existing accounts, ensuring campaign performance and client satisfaction.
- Lead client interactions, including meetings, presentations, and community or after-hours events.
- Develop and present customized sponsorship and marketing solutions aligned with client goals.
- Oversee onboarding and implementation for new clients, managing expectations and outcomes.
- Track and report key account metrics to ensure success and retention.
- Maintain accurate CRM records for all prospects and clients.
- Collaborate with internal sales and support teams to maximize opportunities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Organizational Relationships:
- Collaborates
closely with cross-functional teams across WITF — including, marketing,
development, education, and content — with a strong emphasis on
teamwork as an essential part of success in this role.
- External: Builds and maintains relationships with corporate partners, sponsors, and community stakeholders.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Demonstrated sales acumen, including prospecting, negotiation, and closing.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to track performance metrics and adjust strategies.
- Initiative, creativity, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to collaboration, professionalism, and high-quality customer service
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s
degree is preferred and a minimum of three years of experience in
sales, fundraising, marketing, or relationship management; or an
equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Willingness
and flexibility to support approximately three events per month outside
of standard business hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Valid driver’s license required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in broadcast, media sales, or nonprofit development.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and standard business software.
- Experience working with multimedia or sponsorship campaigns.
- Ability to work 3 events per month, which can include evenings and weekends.
